Kate Wolsey, NCPS
About me
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the National Counselling society. I have experience with a range of issues such as relationship difficulties, self-harm, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and I specialise in bereavement and loss. I have been a volunteer with Cruse bereavement for over 3 years.
My therapy style is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings freely.
My approach combines Person-centred, Psychodynamic and Existential. My main approach is Person-centred which means you, the client, is in the centre of our work together. It will be at your pace and you can bring any issues you choose to our sessions.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Kate has a very relaxed manner and feels very approachable. She gives me the space I need to vent when required and reflects back in a way so I can re-think. I really feel the sessions are beneficial and get lots from them, Thanks Kate.

Kate is fantastic! She is so great at listening (and can easily follow my twists and turns as I speak) and allows me to just convey what I need to say at my own pace. She doesn't rush me, but allows me to find answers under my own steam. Highly recommended.
