About me

Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both New York and Florida, with over 27 years of experience in counseling, personal development, and health coaching.

I approach our work from a collaborative, strength-based perspective on mental wellness. My focus is on a whole-person model of care that emphasizes dignity, respect, sensitivity, and choice. I avoid stigmatizing labels and deficit-focused language.

Our journey will start by identifying barriers that have impeded your progress toward personal and professional goals. We will explore the triggers contributing to symptoms and behaviors that have been challenging for you. From there, we will develop skills and strategies to create actionable, sustainable changes.

Throughout this process, you may experience both empowering and challenging moments. Rest assured, I will be with you through all the ups and downs as you make positive changes to help you live your best life.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Katherine Flechaus. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

When I accepted the trial with Better Help I was skeptical. I was concerned whether I would be matched with a compatible therapist who would be able to help me shift perspectives, and develop new habits to supersede old ones to overcome harmful patterns. From our first session, Kathy have been an active listener, given really great advice, and I feel genuinely heard. She has offered practical solutions on how to approach old patterns and cycles and shifted my ways of thinking for the better. I have come out of every session with a better outlook, new agency and useful tools to overcome old, harmful thoughts and ways. As much as I want to gatekeep her, I highly recommend Kathy and would refer her to anyone who is looking to be heard and break out of old patterns.
