About me

My name is Kathryn Beccaria . You can call me Kat.

I am not going to think you are crazy. My counseling style is honest, non judgmental, and, accepting. I pride myself on my relationships with my clients and try to avoid too much jargon or what can feel sterile. I include my sense of humor in sessions and encourage you to do this same if it helps. I have experience working with clients and their families with interpersonal conflict, parenting struggles, sex and sexuality issues, ASD diagnosis, schizophrenia, bipolar personality disorder, as well as anxiety and depression. Client’s receiving therapy and their families can expect an inclusive and family systems approach to help navigate difficult issues such as stress from school or work, divorce or separation, custody issues, adoption. I am happy to assist in helping you find your happiness using a goal oriented approach. I hope for my clients to feel that they are in a safe, and comfortable environment. As a professional, I would offer unconditional positive regard to my clients while helping them navigate through difficult life situations. I believe in a systems approach and am open to seeing couples, and whole families when appropriate.

I am originally from NY, now living in the quiet suburbs of PA with my large blended family. I consider my self well seasoned and well traveled -translation I have made a lot of good and bad decisions in my life too so I would never judge yours. I promise to offer unconditional positive regard as well as keep it real with you when you need a push.

I graduated Temple university and Chestnut Hill University.
No matter what you are going through I am here to help and I look forward to working with you!
