I am licensed in Minnesota with 11 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with a wide variety of issues; to name a few include: stress and anxiety, coping with addictions and recovery, relationship issues, & life transitions. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you! It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I emphasize building rapport with clients and developing a relationship that is supportive and conducive to the healing process. My specialties include motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness as well as narrative therapy. I believe that a client focused and strength based approach combined with hope, honesty, and humor can be helpful in creating positive change.
