About me

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience. I have worked with diverse clients with many different types of issues in including stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder and other serious mental illnesses. My therapy style is person centered and compassionate. Therapy focus is on what you are interested in working on and your unique needs. I use an eclectic approach combining cognitive-behavioral, ACT, interpersonal, mindfulness, reality and rational emotive therapies.
Beginning therapy can be a frightening experience, and takes courage to work toward a happier life.

Kathy truly listens and gets to know you. Months into therapy she surprised me by relating back to somebody I'd mentioned by name in one of our very first sessions. She knows my context and builds her understanding of it as we go, which puts her in a strong position to support me in just the right ways.
