I believe that each and every individuals has the tools to make their life better and it is my job as a therapist to help my clients learn how to use those tools and so each client can help themselves. I have worked with a very diverse population and pride myself in being truly understanding of all people and all lifestyles.

I like talking to Dr. Mesa. She helps me understand what is going on with me, and gives me helpful, practical advice on how to help myself either in a critical situation or to avoid critical situations stress free. I really like her and feel very comfortable talking to her.

It's awkward to sum up someone in a review. I know if I were to review you, anything I say would fall short of describing what you are.
In the short amount of sessions we've had, Kathy has always been engaging, respectful, and knowledgeable.
If you are the type who wants to chat endlessly, Kathy likely isn't ideal, with a response time of within 12+ hours, having actually read and thought about what you sent. Which is amazing for a therapist, but awkward if you are a teen who's used to instant, off-the-cuff responses.
if you want someone with life experience who will really try to help - Kathy is worth a visit.

Kathy Mesa is a therapist with both a lot of life experience and professional experience and she has both feet on the ground. Her respectful and friendly demeanor made me feel comfortable sharing my feelings and thoughts with her. I immediately felt understood. I love that she went in search of the origin of my problem with me and immediately put her finger on the sore spot. She gave me concrete tips and advice that I could apply right away, giving me a sense of control, and the opportunity for immediate progress. Although I was skeptical about therapy, I found the conversations with Kathy very valuable and I am very happy that she was the person assigned to me by Better Help. Because of her, I will continue having therapy.
