About me

Hello! I'm Katie. I am a Licensed Clinical Counselor in the State of Kentucky with 13 years of experience. I've worked with worked with a variety of populations in my years counseling. I have worked in an in-patient psychiatric hospital, community/school based counseling position, as well as intensive out-patient setting at the local hospital. I have been trained in Trauma Informed Care and have many years experience working with things such as anxiety, depression, and life changes.

I approach counseling in a manner that tries to meet you where you are in life. There is no judgement here, only support and encouragement. It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help. I tend to focus more on your own personal strengths and try to find ways to encourage you to reach solutions on your own so that you feel more empowered and ready to face whatever challenges life throws at you.

I look forward to getting to know you and helping in any way I can on this new adventure.

Katie is really great! She is sweet and supportive. I wasnt so sure how I would like messaging a counselor vs seeing someone in person but its quite convinient. I am having good results

Katie is wonderful. She has helped validate my feelings and is helping me focus more in the moment when it comes to parenting and not beating myself up when my kids struggle. She is great to talk to and I enjoy having her in my corner.
