About me

I am Licensed and Accredited in the UK, with 4 and a half years of Professional work experience. I received my Counselling and Psychotherapy Degree from the University of Plymouth. I am a Fully Registered Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)and belong to their Spiritual and Private Practice Membership Plan.

I am a Fully Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS).
I hold a Licence with the ICO - GOVERNMENT DATA PROTECTION FOR CLIENTS INFORMATION!

I abide under the BACP Code of Ethics and Conduct. This Code is available on their website for Clients reference!

I have worked in the Personal Care Industry for over 40 years. This experience has provided me with a sound knowledge, understanding and ability to help Clients with their Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual Wellness.

Being able to work as part of a Team and in Group Environments within various Mental and Emotional Health Charities and Professional Organisations has allowed me to grow experientially and gain vast knowledge and experience in Mental and Emotional Health and Wellness. I have been so fortunate to of spend quality time working intimately with Children and Young Adults and supporting the through various mental and emotional health challenges, including transitioning from child, to adolescence , into young adult then into a full adult. Working in this field has been particularly empowering.

I have had Professional experience working within an all Male Mental Health Support Centre, where I was given the role to support and Counsel Males that were going through Drug and Alcohol recovery, Sexual Addiction, Homelessness, Loneliness, Trauma of Separation and Divorce, Bullying, Abuse, Self Harm, Literacy Challenges, Intimacy Issues, Grief, Loss and Bereavement, and all the problematic daily vicissitudes of life.

I have provided Psychotherapy for Patients that are going through the daily related changes associated with Cancer, Dementia, Deafness within the boundaries of my ethical principles and competency.

I actively support those that are going through Bereavement and Loss and embark on continual Professional Development to stay abreast of the latest research.

I worked as a Support Worker for True Butterflies, a Domestic Violence and Abuse Organisation. I gained a qualification, Level 3 and have continued to add to this ever changing field. Currently i an studying for a Trauma Informed Specialist Qualification. Understanding the depths of abuse and the power of healing is a great passion that I continue to research and gain more clarity in.

I believe it is a great honour and privilege to do the work that I do and feel extremely grateful for the opportunity to grow and become more established as a Person- Centred/Creative Therapist. I do regularly attend CPD (Continued Professional Development) and am moving into Spirituality and Death with the aim to break the stigma that is prevalent around dying and the attachment to the Material world. I am passionate about helping those that need the strength and guidance to take those powerful small steps towards building a more meaningful, enriching and healthy lifestyle.

As a Holistic Person Centred Psychotherapist I speak daily with an array of people that need mentoring, guidance and counselling within their relationship dynamics, family crisis and different aspects of change. I don’t follow any particular religion I prefer to have a more experiential approach to life and an a worj in progress myself.

I have been working intimately with the LGBTQIA Community, for over 20 years. Being actively supporting and helping those going through the transitional feminisation/masculinisation phase and the intracites that that entails. From the Psychological aspect, right through to all the bodily treatments that enable the patient to fully transition aesthetically naturally and gradually, within a safe, protective and nurturing environment.

I am heterosexual and not from the LGBTQIA Community, and bring my own unique perspective and understand to this field. For some this has been vital for their transition. For others it may be more beneficial to have a therapist from the LGBTQIA Community itself.

I have a Faith, adhere to Christian and Buddhist Principles and offer a Holistic perspective. I provide a space for those that are willing and keen to engage with their own unique essence and awaken to their inner power building resilience, trust confidence and peace.

Thank you!

I’ve spent a year and half with Kaye and through her guidance, I have experienced significant improvement and changes. She provides a comfortable space and resources that have helped me as well. She is authentic and has great integrity in our sessions. I highly recommend Kaye and her nurturing practices.

Kaye is a good listener and very perceptive. She challenges my assumptions about myself or situations in helpful ways. Also, Kaye goes gently where necessary, shares generously from her own life experience and has a great sense of humour! She brings joy as well as wisdom and expertise to our sessions. I've found Kaye's therapy very helpful and encouraging - it's supported me through a period of change and helped me feel confident to apply for a promotion at work. In short - highly recommended.

Kaye has been and still is a tremendous help to me and in my journey of my self healing and empowerment. In hindsight, I sought help from betterhelp and was linked to Kaye as a selected therapist according to my preferences, and thankfully i was blessed with this angel because i was going through such a tough time in life and i didnt know what to do about it. I was dragging my feet to work, i felt dread, anxiety, stress, low self esteem and so many more you could name. It was a wreck. Kaye is never a person who views my faults and instead she refuses to acknowledge that there was something wrong with me, and because of that confidence she had in me, because she believed in me, it was like a contagious spark of joy each time i am on a session with her. It has been 11 months since our first session. She has been nothing but patient in guiding me step by step and helping me be a better version of myself. I didnt know therapy was this easy and this welcoming. When you need someone, you feel threatened, u feel like your fight or flight response is in the way, you dont have to when you have Kaye. Talking to her feels like a warm light of joy. I encourage everyone who is on therapy to keep booking your weekly sessions and make it a habit because you never know if you ever might need it.
