About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin with 10 years of experience in the field and 5 years experience as a therapist. I have worked with a wide range of clientele from young children to older adults with a wide range of concerns including ADHD, domestic violence, emotional/physical/sexual traumas. depression, stress and anxiety, and family discord. I also have experience in working with military Veterans and Veterans families.
My counseling style is strengths-based, open, warm, and client centered. I believe in walking side-by-side with my clients vs leading them; you know how you learn and grow best and I'm here to help provide guidance towards your goals. Everyone deserves to be treated with fairness, equity, compassion, and care. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral, problem-solving, humanistic, motivation enhancement, and psychodynamic. We will work together to create a treatment plan that works for you as an individual.
The brain is the most powerful muscle in the body and our mental wellness is just as important as our physical. If you are ready to take the first step towards change I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you soon!

Kayla is very supportive and listens. She’s very adept at pointing out where my thinking is flawed and helps me with coping techniques and validation.

Kayla is my first experience with therapy. I'm very skeptical and had reservations about healthcare. My experience with Kayla is wonderful and exceeded my expectations. I felt confident in her abilities and expertise right away which says a lot. I'm glad I found someone I trust right away.

Kayla is a "quick study" with her clients. After a short period of time, she is able to get a sense of key issues and any underlying concerns. Kayla is kind, insightful, and very intelligent. I have been very happy working with her and will continue on. I highly recommend her. She's wonderful.

Kayla is so knowledgeable and has great perspective on many aspects of life. In just 2.5 sessions, she was already able to call me out on some tendencies I have. She is so thoughtful and caring with her wisdom, and is helping me reflect and grow to the person I want to be.
