Kayla began her career by working for over ten years in veterinary medicine. Kayla decided to merge her two passions of helping people and interest in animals by obtaining a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a specialty in animal assisted therapy and opening Along with Animal assisted therapy, Kayla has experience working with patients with behavioral needs, through integration in the school setting as well as outpatient Kayla has experience working in group home settings, the alternative schools in the area, and traditional schools previously.
