Hi Everybody ! BH is terrific and I am so pleased that you have found the courage to ask for help here :) I am a Clinician licensed in the States of Texas and Washington with over 18 years of experience. I work in private practice with individuals and couples who are struggling with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety-related disorders, clinical depression, PTSD as well as Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. I also have extensive experience working with children and their families.
I have broad experience with a large variety of populations, including Veterans and Trauma survivors. Since I worked as a medical social worker for a significant number of years - I have also worked with women and men struggling with cancer and chronic pain - as well as the rare diseases: infantile nephropathic cystinosis, intermediate cystinosis and non- nephropathic cystinosis. I have experience with Huntington's disease as well.
Additionally, I enjoy helping clients who suffer with infertility-related problems. This was a personal journey close to my heart that also led me to want to help women who are struggling to have a baby and those who have suffered a miscarriage or a stillbirth.
My counseling approach is warm and interactive. My clinical approach consists of multiple theoretical backgrounds. A few include : humanistic, dialectical behavior counseling, mindfulness, acceptance therapy, cognitive-behavioral counseling and counseling aimed at helping those to resolve trauma. The only time that I would incorporate psychoanalytic counseling would be to help the client to understand how the past could be contributing to her or his present circumstances. I do not consider stigmatizing labels to be beneficial in the helping process. When I am not working in the field of counseling - I work at my fundraising business to help women get their lives put back together following assault or domestic violence. I also volunteer for an organization that helps to stop domestic minor sex-trafficking.
It takes determination to seek a more rewarding and happier life. If you are ready to take steps toward change then I will be with you to support and to empower you ! I am pleased that you are here at Betterhelp.

Kelley is so amazing!! She’s great at communicating and following up. She provides necessary insight and perspective to my discussion topics and we have a collaborative relationship when it comes to working through my needs. She’s very accommodating and flexible with my schedule. One of the things I am most appreciative of is the fact that she is empathetic to my situations and adapts with my needs. She understands when I need to vent, versus when I need advice. That is a crucial skill to have, and she’s mastered it. I recommend her 10/10, top box score!

I have been through a few therapists now and very glad I was matched with Kelley. First visit was very professional, friendly and welcoming.
Kelley looks at things from several perspectives and uses my experiences, history, childhood, adulthood and current situations to better determine what steps are needed to move into a healthier life.
The biggest gratitude that I have so far is that Kelley encourages journaling and she responds quickly... Far more than I imagined a therapist would . Being that I need regulation, I get highs and lows but she maintains and helps remind me to stay grounded.
She's very kind and respectful, puts my safety first, and genuinely cares. I feel I can disagree and ask questions if I need to, and Kelley is happy to explain things when I need help.
I would absolutely recommend Kelley in a heartbeat, she has tons of experience in a variety of areas. I feel comfortable talking about anything, even if it's embarrassing.

Of course learning takes practice to actually do the things you know, but Kelley is there to cheer you on and ask the right questions for self-reflection and self-love. Kelly leads the way to uncover why we do the things we do and knowing the truth and roots of behaviors and thoughts allows them to be adjusted and shifted for the better. Thank you Kelley for connecting with me and helping me become something stronger and not merely just doing stronger things.

Kelley is a wonderful counselor! She’s always there when I need to talk, she takes her time to really listen and she never tries to tell you something you don’t want to hear (I’ve had that a lot with psychologists). Kelley is such a warm and empathic person and having her as my psychologist has really helped! I can only recommend Kelley to anyone who’s still unsure about who they want to open up to. Thanks for everything Kelley!

Kelly is an excellent listener. She is always available just to even share a small thought with. She is comforting, encouraging and is an excellent support system. She affirms me and helps me realize my potential and what my successes are. She read a book chapter by chapter with me which I thought went above and beyond. She is truly great.

At this very moment, I feel words alone are powerless to express my gratitude to Kelley or how lucky anyone would be to have met her in life.
She is one of the most generous and considerate people I have ever met. She genuinely cares about people: very often she reached out to me and checked upon me, asking how I was doing and how I felt. She is very responsive, sometimes she even replied to my messages late in the evenings. She is always willing to go extra miles to help me: talking to me during after work hours or even sharing some very personal stories of her own. She is also a great listener: never got impatient when I had to rant over mediocre details.
Thank you Kelley!

Kelley has been awesome for me. She checks up on me frequently and you can tell she really cares.
At first I didn't think there wasn't much going on and I wasn't sure what exactly she was doing. I have never had counseling before, so I had expectations of being diagnosed or given certain advice, but a lot of it has just happened through a lot of conversations.
I can't pinpoint a certain moment where something seemed to click for me, but I can tell that there is huge improvement in my mental health. I would highly recommend Kelley as a person to trust, who roots for you, who listens and tries to understand.

Kelley has helped me so much in such a short time. I am so glad I decided to get counseling and that I was matched up with Kelley. I am hoping after the free week that I can keep talking to her. I think it was meant for us to be matched up because her daughter has the exact same name and spelling as I.
Thank you so much, Kelley, I thank God and the angels they brought us together.

Working with Kelley has brought me even more, knowledge and tools I can use when I need them. She has been there for me when I really need support, whether it be knowledge or just a listening ear. I know I can always reach out to her. BetterHelp has given me a convenient and affordable way to get the help that I need when I need it. It also gives me that little bit more control over my life that I've been looking for. Not to mention the fact medium also suits my busy lifestyle and personality very well. The mobile app provides a discrete way for me to communicate wherever I am and allows me to reread messages quickly. I have had some unpleasant experiences both in traditional psychotherapy treatment as well as online, but Kelley has made the second attempt with better help worth it. She is very warm, responsive, genuinely cares and is authentic, I am so glad I asked to be matched with her and look forward to continuing the positive trajectory we are on together!

There is so much I could say about Kelley, that would leave you with positive thoughts about her. I am in a profession where it is difficult for me to share my thoughts and feelings about my personal life. Kelley has been so kind, patient, and gentle in her approach with me: I have been able to open up and share details about my life that I never thought I would share, and I haven't felt judged or less of a person because of it. I am incredibly thankful for the amount of time and love she had poured into me, I could not have asked for more. Thank you, for everything, Kelley.

I have to be honest... I wasn't too sure about BetterHelp. I was concerned about online counseling and opening up to someone I couldn't actually see. But I'm here to tell you that Kelley made me feel at ease from the start. She is genuine, caring and is always there when I need her the most. Because of that I have been able to work more diligently on anxieties and the stressors that cause them. She is wonderful and I would highly recommend here to anyone.

I've been working with Kelley for a couple of months. She's my second try at BetterHelp, and the second time was the charm for me. Kelley is great to talk to and checks in if she doesn't hear from, which is hugely important to my sense of being cared for. Just knowing she's there gives me an extra layer of support against the challenges the world throws at me on a daily basis. I highly recommend working with her if you have the chance.
