Kenneth Brown, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8 years experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My focus is helping adults who may be dealing with mental health and or substance abuse issues. It is my goal to help my clients overcome their challenges in order for them to live healthier, happier, lives. I am a person centered, solution focused therapist with an eclectic approach to treatment. I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. We are all individuals and what works for some, may not work for others. I look forward to meeting my clients where they are and helping them get to where they want to be in their journey toward positive change and recovery. All that being said, please be aware that the therapeutic process is a a collaborative one, as your counselor, I will do all I can to help you so long as you do all you can to adhere to your appointment times and apply what you learn. I firmly believe you will get out of the process exactly what you are willing to put in.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kenneth Brown. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Ken Brown is an incredible resource if you are genuinely interested in being held accountable. He is patient, knowledgeable, and willing to do whatever it takes to help you where you need it most. He and I have worked together for over four months, and I keep coming back because I am seeing is a positive impact on my life. Ken is not one of these counselors that lets you talk and blow off steam. Instead, he is results and action-oriented and will push you. Somehow he knows just how far to go without making you feel overwhelmed but still helping you move forward.
Ken is highly boundaried and has strong principles, so you always know it's a professional environment when you are in session with him. That was important to me as a woman talking about really personal stuff with a man. He is firm but also warm. He is both astute and willing to admit that he does not know something. I think he really cares about me and my success, and so when times are tough, or he suggests something hard for me to hear, I trust him. And I try my best to be open to his suggestions, too. My favorite thing about my relationship with him is that it feels like a true collaboration with mutual respect.
Thank you, Ken! I will always be grateful to you.

Extremely helpful and has great insight on how to help me progress with the issues that I’m facing. Very blunt and honest. Very friendly and listens to key points and issues. I enjoy speaking with him on a weekly basis, and eager to get me in a better place for my family and myself.
