Kenya Rouska, LCSW
About me
Welcome!
I'm Kenya Rouska, a licensed clinical social worker in Texas with six years of experience providing psychotherapy in a private practice setting. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents, adults, and couples who have faced a wide range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, psychosis, relationship and intimacy issues, parenting challenges, self-esteem , body image concerns, personality and eating disorders, addiction, and the emotional impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I also have a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those affiliated with the military, whether active duty, dependents, or veterans. As a former military spouse, I’ve experienced the complexities of military life firsthand, which informs my compassionate approach to supporting clients from this community.
I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. That’s why I collaborate closely with each of my clients to identify the most effective therapeutic approach tailored to their specific needs. Congratulations on taking this important first step toward your well-being, and I look forward to working together to build a rewarding and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Thank you for everything you’re amazing. I thought I would be embarrassed talking about my life and problems, but you were understanding and gave sound advice. I appreciate you.

Ms. Rouska is very empathetic and understanding and that was comforting. Her warmness allowed me to really open up during our session

I've worked with Kenya for over a year now and it's been a healing journey. She makes herself completely available during our sessions which creates a safe space to explore what comes up entirely.
I've unearthed some limiting beliefs that were sewn before I understood what was happening. I've learned more and grown faster because Kenya is sharp, empathetic, and profoundly wise. No one take my time slot but your mental will thank you for working with Kenya.

She is the BEST THERAPIST I’ve ever had. I was struggling with a lot of family issues and marital problems and she definitely helped me find my way to a place of peace and strength as well as hope. She has been such a blessing to me and I recommend her to anyone needing support. She’s truly amazing!!
