Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Kerene Brown. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Dr. Brown has proven to be the perfect match for me. She is a non-anxious presence who serves as a hopeful guide through the counseling journey. She begins her sessions with a recap of the previous session and makes note of the goals you all are working toward. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. She conveys understanding and empathy. And while I can tell that she can connect with a variety of people from various cultural backgrounds and walks of life, I have especially appreciated the inherent, unspoken understanding we have as fellow Black women. I have felt accepted and liberated from even the early inklings of shame. I’m grateful Dr. Brown is a betterhelp therapist!

We've only met 2 times so far, but we've also been able to unpack a lot of my issues so that she has a better understanding of my situation and can know how to help. It seems nice just to be able to get it off my chest. Dr. Brown is a great listener & I'm excited to continue my therapy with her!

In the short time that I have had Dr. Brown, she has been amazing in listening to me, understanding me, and providing a clinical lens and verbiage to what I’ve been experiencing throughout my life. She’s really great and I’m glad I was set up with her.
