About me

Hello my name is Kimberly S. Roberts, LMSW. I've worked as a social worker/Therapist in many capacities for 34 years. I was born and raised in Iowa where I lived for 50 years until I moved to Colorado in 2017. I graduated with my masters degree in social work from the University of Northern Iowa in 2010. It was then I began working as a LMSW in emergency departments which I continue to do. I received my LCSW certification in 2/2021 and began my journey as a Therapist shortly thereafter.

With 34 years of experience as a social worker I have developed many different strengths I use in private practice:

•trauma therapy
•anxiety/depression
•familial issues
•parental alienation
•marital issues
•chronic pain
•mental illness/dual diagnosis
•LGBQ
•many others

I believe in a client centered strength focused approach . I believe empathy and compassion are essential when working toward client goals.

I am a mother of two. I live in Estes Park, CO where I am able to fully indulge myself in all of my favorite hobbies such as hiking, sledding, biking, walking and jogging. I have a love for animals and the outdoors. I have a 10 year old English lab named Cooper who keeps me on my toes.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and know that together anything is possible.

Thank you for choosing me!!

Kimberley Roberts is such a great listener. I actually look forward to therapy because I get to hear her insight. It's nice, too, to have a therapist who understands where I am coming from and makes an effort to collaborate when facing a topic. Would recommend her to anyone who needs perspective in a conversational and honest way.

Kim is incredibly wise and skilled at establishing trust with clients. It is such a comfort to know that I can message her about my family and relationship issues that I do not have the tools to solve, and she will point me in the right direction.
