She is excellent. I am new to therapy. My only hesitation is if my therapist is a good fit for me. That will take time to discern. She is skilled, available, and professional. I just need to keep going to see if this is the right fit for me. Not criticizing the therapist as this is totally subjective. I think we are going is a good direction so far. Super receptive, no nonsense, and yet highly empathetic and willing to really listen. I’m happy with this experience so far. Therapy is a weird when it’s your first time.

I was very nervous about putting myself out there but it has been freeing to finally have my past out in the light. It seems to be that it isn't in the shadows it hasn't popped into to my thoughts like it used to I can finally put it behind me and move on.

Dr Athuman has invested great amount of time into listening to my concerns and helped me seek clarity about some of the things I had questions on. I've learned a lot about myself in the process.

Kim is the greatest! We clicked immediately and she's always very understanding and supportive, but will also point out things that I should work on - negative ways of viewing things or trauma responses that need to be tended to. She's so easy to talk to and I look forward to our sessions each week. Definitely recommend!

We immediately connected, which was a very different experience with my previous experience. She eased me into unpacking my less traumatic issue. She checked in with mid-week to follow up on my action steps. Really nice!

Dr. Athuman has been great, she talks me through things and helps me see situations in another perspective, which is exactly what I need. She’s given me worksheets to help with specific areas of my life that I hope to use in future situations and has made me feel comfortable and relatable in our conversations.
