Kimberly Berman, LCSW
About me
I am a licensed and certified therapist in New York. I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with several different populations, with a gamut of issues. I have been in the field for thirty years. I work with individuals, families, and couples. I enjoy working with all ages.
My approach is low- key, warm, and patient. I try to meet the client where they are and go at a pace that they are comfortable with in the treatment course. Although I have been trained in psychoanalysis and psychodynamics, I have an eclectic approach dependent on what the client needs. The most important factor is that the client feels comfortable with the therapist. There has to be a rapport and a relationship of trust that builds eventually over time.
