About me
Greetings!
I am a mental health counselor licensed in Florida and Michigan with over 13 years of experience; I have worked in a variety of settings including community health, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse facilities, and corrections. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addictions, trauma, and LGBT-related issues. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral, and solution-focused counseling. I will collaborate with you to develop a plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to make the first step in order to make a change toward a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take that step and put in the work, I am here to support and empower you!

Kimberly helped me with my coping skills. And also reminding me that different doesn't mean bad or good. I am very thankful for her expertise and feedback. Being able to do therapy with her was a great experience. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love Kimberly. When I started therapy, I had been suffering from frequent panic attacks and social anxiety. At this point in therapy, I no longer get panic attacks and it’s all thanks to Kimberly. She has provided me with the proper tools and resources. I am also able to confidently set boundaries and take care of myself, so I never get to a place like that anymore. I Absolutely love her and wouldn’t want to have any other therapist.
