Dr. Kristen Rumley, LCSW
About me
Hi! I am Dr. Kristen Rumley. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience. I am also a USAF Veteran, where I served 8 years active duty. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I have 15 years specialized experience working with military, military families, first responders, and disaster response. I also have a lot of experience working with people on relationships, boundaries, and attachment theory. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I am genuine and authentic and I strive to do the best I can to help people. I believe that success in therapy is strongly related to the therapeutic relationship. I also believe that you have what you need within yourself to change your self-concept, behaviors, and attitudes and you have the ability to reach your highest potential. My role is to help you discover and understand yourself for overall personal-growth. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! I do prefer video as a means to do sessions but I am open to phone if you feel more comfortable with that. I do not offer live chat options for 1:1 counseling. Thank you for trusting me with what you are going through.
