Kristina Huddleston, LMFT
About me
Has this year created feelings of overwhelming stress, anxiety and depression for you and your family members? With over a decade of mental health experience, I am here to support you as we navigate together through these uncertain times. My training and experience cuts across a wide range of therapeutic needs, including: mood disorders such as Anxiety and Depression, trauma (both chronic and acute), child and adolescence treatment, grief and loss (including chronic illness/pain and end of life care), issues unique to military members and their families, and kink positive/alternative culture proficiency.
As a Marriage and Family therapist, my therapeutic framework looks at the client's needs in relation to the systems (family, parent-child, couple, work, etc.) the client functions in. My treatment approaches utilize evidenced-based models such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Contextual Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT and Family Systems. My relational style is to provide unconditional acceptance and warmth, and I am deeply committed to providing a safe space, free of judgement or criticism, to allow my clients to explore their own strengths and solutions.
The first step towards change is often the hardest, and congratulations for taking that leap of faith in yourself. I am here to walk those next steps towards your life goals with you, you are worth it.

Kristina is wonderful! She is very sweet and understanding. We sometimes have conflicts in scheduling due to my crazy schedule or medical needs but she tries her best to accommodate me.

Kristina has been an incredible resource for me in my mental health journey. I am constantly impressed with her expertise, and she always makes me feel comfortable and unjudged to share what I’m struggling with. She has helped me establish so many positive habits and personal growth strategies that have made a big impact in my life.

Kristina really outshines the dozens of other therapists I've worked with over the years in her compassion, insight, and humor. She is extremely client-focused, and is willing to put in the extra work it takes to understand her clients' concerns outside of sessions. She is hilarious and irreverent, which works well with my queer atheistic sensibilities. She has significant experience in her areas of competency, and she is humble enough to acknowledge when we are venturing outside of those realms. I hope to be seeing Kristina for years to come.
