About me
Hello! My name is Kristine. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with 7 years of experience in providing therapeutic services to adults, children, and couples. I focus on domestic violence, crisis intervention, substance abuse, family and relationship challenges, learning challenges, problem-solving skills, building resilience skills, career and vocational guidance, anger and stress management, emotional triggers, and life and resilience skills. My treatment approaches are Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My educational foundation is a Masters in Psychology and a second Masters in Psychology specializing in Family, Couple, and Individual Psychotherapy. I have a variety of training and experience, ranging from working with children in an elementary school to family violence prevention services, group counseling, individual counseling, couple and family counseling, and military services. I am a 24-year Air Force and Army veteran with three combat deployments, and I bring a unique understanding of deployments and family separation. I keep myself current on the latest techniques and theories to provide the best services for my clients. I am here to help. The sessions will go at your pace and address your needs.
