About me
I am a licensed counselor in Georgia with 17 years of experience working with youth, adolescents and parents in the elementary and middle school setting as a school counselor. I have experience in helping children and teens with anger management, depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I have been a nationally certified counselor since 2006. My therapeutic approach combines client-centered and solution focused. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, compassion, and grace. Life is hard. We all need help at times finding the light in the darkness. I like to say that I have ears that listen and a heart that cares. I am committed to working collaboratively with clients to achieve therapeutic goals by providing an engaging and supportive therapeutic relationship.
