Krystal Laday, LPC
About me
I am an LPC in the state of Texas with just over 5 years working under full licensure. I have worked in several settings including, hospital where I provided grief counseling and outpatient mental health clinic where I have worked with children and adults treating ADHD, Depression, Anxiety and Posttraumatic stress disorder. In addition to this, I have worked with individuals diagnosed with co-occurring substance use disorders. My approach includes CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and motivational interviewing. I am open, honest and welcoming in session, and encourage my clients to, "do the work". I don't believe in a cookie cutter, one size fits all approach and as such, I work hard to tailor each session to meet the needs of the person I am working with.
It can be a very scary thing to decide to seek out therapy services; my desire is to provide a safe space for you to feel comfortable sharing your life experiences with me in order to find healing and move towards the next chapter in your life.
