LaShonda Milsap, LCSW
About me
I have over 23 years social work and clinical social work experience working with diverse clients dealing with stress, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues, and life transitions. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. I work with children, couples, and families. With each client, a specific treatment model is used which involves a holistic approach that is person centered to address each client’s needs/concerns. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. In sessions, solution focused, CBT, DBT, ACT and other evidence-based interventions are used. Not only am I a therapist but I am also a co-author who helps and motivates others to pursue their goals/aspirations and assist individuals to recognize their strengths.I work with children, teens, individuals, couples, and families who are dealing with grief and loss, stress management, life transition, relationship, parenting, and emotional management issues. We all face challenges and it helps fo talk with someone who can truly meet you where you are with no judgement. Just remember If you fall and if you can look up, you can get up. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

She's a great listener and doesn't speak over you. She really listens and gives feedback based on what's was said. The homework is fair - nothing crazy. But it makes you think hard which I appreciate and need
