About me

My name is Latisha Sterling and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York and a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey with over 5 years experience. I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, & families around issues of depression, foster care, behavioral concerns, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and adjustments. I also have helped many people with trauma, substance use, and challenging irrational beliefs.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
