Latoria Hairston, LPC
About me
Hi, I am Latoria. A Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, a certified Marriage & Family therapist, a Certified Counselor Trauma Professional, a Board-Certified TeleMental Health Counselor, Certified Profession Counselor Supervisor in Georgia, and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I am also EMDR trained, a Somatic Experience trainee and I am currently finishing my requirements to be a Registered Play Therapist. I use my obtained and continued education, knowledge and experiences to fully serve the needs of others in a creatively, individually focused way.
My clinical experience consists of working with children ages 6-19, adults of all ages, couples, and families on an individual and group basis. This experience is in both the community and private sectors; with environments including community-based agencies, private schools and Christian youth programs. I entered the field of counseling to creatively guide couples, families and children to living healthier, fuller and more meaningful lives by learning to navigate their complex worlds, together.
My passion is in helping people navigate their complex lives by guiding them to use the healing power that is already within. People who truly want help, find help. I am here to help those individuals traverse the waters of life, and here to help transform them into their best self in the process.

Latoria is an amazing therapist. She listens and cares. She can zero right in on an issue and work with me on a plan of action that I can start immediately after our visit. Things are really hard for me right now but I have complete confidence that I am in the right hands with her. I highly recommend Latoria!
