About me
I am a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio with over 12 years of clinical counseling experience working with individuals, families and couples. I have a Master's degree from John Carroll University specializing in depression, anxiety, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, parenting, divorce, adjustment disorders, stress management, self-esteem and body image issues. I am a very open-hearted and a non-judgemental therapist that specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, yoga, yoga therapy, meditation, and fitness that I believe can each help people deal with life challenges, as well as stress and anxiety.
I am a warm and compassionate counselor who is passionate about helping clients achieve their goals and supporting them wholeheartedly during the process. I have a diverse background and have lived in many cities and countries providing me with a global sense of humanity and understanding. I have experienced many life stressors and I am empathetic to life’s difficult circumstances and predicaments. Together, we can work on your concerns and issues at your own pace and capacity.
I strongly believe counseling provides a strong platform for one’s change, growth, and exploration on many levels. Counseling offers a way to get in touch with one’s inner feelings and can provide insight and awareness, enabling clients to better make the right choices that achieve the change that is necessary. I am here to provide you with on-line support at your convenience and help you with problem solving, decision making skills, and new coping skills as needed. Together we can collaborate on your goals, needs and objectives that are most important to you at this time. Counseling can provide the support and guidance necessary to help you build the confidence you may need at this time to meet your new challenges. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals by providing a consistent support system as you go through life's challenges.
