About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina, where I have been practicing for over 12 years. I have worked with clients with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, life changes, and family interactions.

My counseling style is supportive and encouraging, I believe is meeting my clients where they are with what they want to work on and having them lead. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and strengths based. Each person is an individual and the treatment should be reflective of that.

Everyone should be leading the life that they want to lead and I am here to assist you with getting there. I look forward to working with you.

I have never felt more supported than I do with Lauren. I have been seeing her for a year and I don't know how I managed without therapy before. I trust her and appreciate the help she's been giving me

Lauren has been great so far! We’ve only had a couple sessions, but she is a great listener and offers sound advice. She’s been very helpful so far in getting me to think about things differently! I’m looking forward to continuing to work with Lauren.
