Lauren Strunk, LMHC, LPC
About me
Hello,
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counseling who has been helping young adults and teens for over 10 years.
I have worked in a variety of settings including private elementary school, public middle school and high school, as well as universities and community mental health agencies. My experiences have provided me with a unique set of skills to be creative in my counseling approach. I am a huge advocate of holistic wellness and therefore will work with each of my clients to assess how they are taking care of themselves and their environment in which they live, work, and play. I have a foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and often use those techniques when working with clients.
I like to meet clients where they are at to ensure that I understand their goals for therapy and work with them to achieve them for lifelong happiness.

She's literally amazing! I love that she let's me as the client decide what to talk about, and she asks questions or poses scenarios in return. Shes been so helpful over the YEARS, couldn't have asked for a better therapist.

Lauren is amazing. She has helped me work through many scenerios that have popped up in my life and helped me learn the skills needed to work through future ones on my own. I can not recommend her expertise and skills enough.

Lauren is an extremely thoughtful and kind LMHC who has supported me with my struggles in anxiety and self-esteem for quite sometime. She integrates a variety of methods into her approach, and is also supportive and nonjudgmental. She is easy to talk with, and I’d highly recommended her to anyone seeking therapy.

My sessions with Lauren have been great! She gives me multiple options when it comes to how I would feel comfortable talking. She never comes across judgement when I tell her things about my life and gives me multiple sources for coping. Overall I’m very happy.
