Lawrence Jacobson, LCSW
About me
As a therapist and counselor, I have more than 25 years of experience as well as many years in program development, administration, and counseling.
I have worked with nearly all populations with the exception of small children. I see my work as a functional support for the client and or family system so that I am seeking any way possible that I can support, the individual, couple, or family to improve their quality of life in the short term. Because of my long term experience in many different settings, I work hard to listen closely to the person seeking help and support best to understand their view of the problem and what they most want to improve in their life.
My goal is to develop a healing relationship that offers safety and support.

I like Larry. He seems like he knows what he's doing but feels a little like he's going through the motions at first. I think his demeanor and mine don't really mesh as I am a pretty upbeat person and he's a little mellow. Like, he's a little too minimal for me, character wise, because I'm so animated and crack jokes often, whether they're funny or not haha. So if we need someone who really knows this stuff and has a really calm attitude, Larry's your person!
