Lillian Vinson, LCSW
About me
My name is Lillian and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of North Carolina. I have worked over 37 years of experience as a therapist in mental health. I have assisted clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, mood disturbances, PTSD and parenting challenges. I have worked in the field of social work and mental health assisting individuals and families by aiding them in identifying their needs as well as providing them with the resources that will help them achieve and sustain their goals. I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity but most importantly I pride myself on demonstrating compassion for all and being sensitive to the needs of others. I believe that it is important to identify your strengths and build around them.
My counseling style is very empathetic, mindful and client centered. I strive to provide a nonjudgmental safe and confidential environment for clients to develop healthier coping strategies and achieve their goals of overall improved health and quality of life. It takes a great deal of courage to seek professional help and even more courage to implement change. However if you are ready to take the next steps I’d love to help guide you along the way.

I love have Lillian as my therapist. She really listens and tries to understand what’s going on in my life and always follows up with helpful worksheets and messages between sessions which I find very helpful.
