Linda Bianchi, LMFT
About me
I am a marriage and family therapist licensed in the states of Colorado and California with over 25 years of experience working with clients ranging in development from young children to the elderly. I have worked with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, with couples who had reached an impasse in their communication and those experiencing parenting problems. I understand the dynamics of substance abuse and have helped guide individuals towards treatment. I also have extensive experience with crisis intervention and helping families move from being problem-focused to becoming solution-focused.
My approach to therapy is strongly rooted in exploring the family of origin and how the family we come from is so instrumental in shaping our beliefs and behaviors, which sometimes do not serve us. I believe that with an understanding of how family dynamics shape one’s sense of self, comes empowerment, which then enables an individual to recognize maladaptive thought processes and change the way they think about themselves, their choices and their subsequent behaviors.
What I bring to the table is a strong, empathetic nature and the ability to listen intently and patiently. I possess an innate ability to conceptualize what you tell me in a way that brings a deeper understanding.
You've taken the first step towards seeking a happier and more fulfilling life by reaching out for support. I'll be here each step of the way to guide you in your journey.
I look forward to working with you!
