I am a clinical social worker licensed in Michigan. In 2015, I started providing counseling in outpatient settings and more recently with online platforms. I have worked with a variety of people from children to older adults in both rural and urban settings. My clients have identified various concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, chronic illness, and grief and loss. Prior to working as a therapist, I worked as a case manager for seven years with older adults, people with disabilities, and veterans.
My approach with clients is both understanding and interactive. I believe that therapy is a partnership between the therapist and client. The therapeutic perspectives that I work from include person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I also utilize mindfulness and relaxation exercises during therapy. Together, we will create a treatment plan that is best suited to you and your situation.

Absolutely love my sessions with Lindsay! I was quite nervous starting therapy and as I didn't know what to expect, but I knew I needed help. When I began counseling I was looking for someone who would help me help myself. I understood that my issues were short term but I felt I had hit a road block. Lindsay made me feel comfortable, she listened to my concerns and the treatment options I was looking for. She has helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. She has offered several outside sources for information and skill building. She had communicated with me outside of our scheduled sessions and even though this was not expected it has been appreciated. My first conversation with Lindsay I literally felt like I was going to crash and burn, I didn't want to eat, didn't want to work or even get out of bed. After 1 session I was feeling like I was headed in the right direction, by the second session I was feeling like I was on the right path but that I could also see an alternative outcome than I had just two weeks prior.
