Lindsay Lee, LCSW
About me
Congratulations on making it here! It is extremely brave to ask for help and you're making a huge first step.
My name is Lindsay Lee and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Louisiana and Colorado. My practice has taken me to work with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crime in North Carolina; individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness in Louisiana, young people experiencing trauma and loss in New Orleans schools, military families coping with deployment, professionals struggling with compassion fatigue and secondary traumatic stress, and most recently providing supervision to new social workers in Colorado. I earned my Master's in Social Work at Tulane University, with a certificate in International Social Work.
Over my ten years of practice in social work I have learned that relationships are central to how we function in the world, Our relationships with our family, friends, co-workers, and educators impact the quality of our lives in important ways. This applies to the counseling relationship too. It is critical that we find the right fit and style that feels comfortable for your needs and your life. It would be a privilege to help you on your journey.

Lindsay has always been flexible & accommodating when it came to scheduling our appointments together :)
She really focussed on what my needs+wants out of a therapy session we’re (which we’re guidance in handling emotional scenarios + how to better approach them). She did so in a very professional, but personable way.
I felt like I was venting to a friend who was giving me reassurance, but guiding me to be better.
I appreciate her help thus far :)

I’ve gone through a lot of therapists and Lindsay is the best I’ve ever had. She’s non judgmental and checks her own opinions at the door. She asks the hard questions and provides a comfortable space for you to work on yourself in a constructive manner. I used to dread therapy because I had so much shame about my imperfections but through my work with Lindsay I’ve become the person who shows up for themselves and their relationships in a loving manner. I am so grateful to have found a counselor like her.

Lindsay’s been helping me for a while now And I can say with full sincerity that she is the best therapist I’ve had. I’m 33 and I’ve been in and out of therapy majority of my life. That says a lot about Lindsay in its self. She is kind, compassionate, and truly cares about her patients. She has personally gone out of her way for me to reschedule when I’m forgetful and is prompt with her return messages.

Lindsay is the best counselor I could’ve asked for. She’s so detailed and articulate and listens to every issue I have and helps give me a solution. I feel so comfortable expressing my needs to her - she provides a very safe space.

I was very anxious, and emotional when I first sought counselling from Lindsay after experiencing bullying at work, which impacted my emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. I felt, seen, heard, validated, and received guidance that affirmed that I could be healthy and happy, in spite of everything that was happening. Two months later, I am in a new job, with great prospects and my manager and colleagues are great. The trauma from being bullied has significantly, dissipated, each conversation with Lindsay helped significantly, I felt huge shifts and weight being lifted after each session. I no longer need to discuss the bullying, emotionally I have moved past it and on to the rest of my life. There's still a sadness that I have experienced this, but I don't live there. It's a testament to Lindsay that I have experienced a tangible change in such a short period of time.
