Lori Laub, LPC
About me
Hello. My name is Lori Laub. I am Citizen Potawatomi Nation. I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in the State of Oklahoma, having earned my Master's Degree from Oklahoma State University. My pronouns are she/her.
I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including client-centered therapies, CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness (including trauma-informed mindfulness) and have some experience in art therapy. In our first session, we will talk about those types of therapies and mutually arrive at what might work best for you.
I am an empathic and warm person. My patients generally find me very easy to talk to and above all, they feel safe. My passion is working with people who, for whatever reason, find themselves in the midst of change, or find themselves needing change, and I help them find their own strengths and inner resources to make those steps and live their best lives. I generally work with adults ages 18-60ish, but I especially love working with young adults, ages 18-35, helping them navigate the world, develop life skills, grow in confidence, spread their wings and fly!
I look forward to meeting with you soon.
