We worked together for about 2 months, weekly calls. He is a very competent, highly adjustable therapist that not only helped me to use my awareness and coaching skills on myself but contributed with great questions, stories from life, metaphors, thought-provoking books which I read. We went through a rough patch as well almost a breaking point for the therapist-client relation but that turned out to be the sign that we are onto something. Some deeply rooted issues came up and began to resolve themselves when we addressed them. Like co-dependence, trauma brain, perfectionism, etc. Lots of things were easing and dissolving as we approach them and shed the light on those. I feel like I eventually arrived to the clarity of what was my problem and better so - what is the way forward for me. That wouldn't have been possible without our work together. After nearly 2 months of weekly calls with Lowell, I am ready to finish the therapy and stand on my own feet enabled and equipped in all I need to self-regulate my negative states and become the best version of myself. Thanks, Lowell. Great work.

Lowell is done to earth, informative, funny, fun, and most importantly direct. He wants to listen, help, and encourage a change in behavior to benefit me. He has talked with me through difficult memories. He is a wonderful therapist with proven experience. It's like taking to someone you know, but have never met. He is kind, caring, and honest. I cannot thank him enough for the help and listening ear. Thank you Lowell.

Lowell is very kind, knowledgeable with a nice touch of directness. He will guide, support and encourage you through the process. I felt super relaxed to be vulnerable and to open up with Lowell. He is very experienced in his field, and that's why he doesn't shy away from trauma based topics. Lowell is an anchor with heavy topics, and with love he points you to the direction of healing. I absolutely recommend the sessions with him.
Also, I first requested a woman, and connected to Lowell was a leap of faith for me, but real soon I realized this connection was a real blessing!

Really believe it was destiny meeting Lowell here on BetterHelp and I say that because of how much he has helped me understand myself,my relationships and improve my life. He is kind, caring, engaging, an amazing listener that is so generous in his help and guidance. He gets me to really think hard about situations and to reflect and to look at ways to improve.
It has been super liberating to be able to speak truthfully about my thoughts, fears and flaws - and Lowell has shown me how much my upbringing has so much to do with it all. As he calls it, I just need 'to have new tools for my toolbox' and implement new strategies, and thought processes to break the cycle and heal.
I cannot thank Lowell enough for everything he has thought me - I really see him as a friend and I feel so lucky to have had this time with him because I have grown so much (I feel 10feet tall after our sessions!) because of him.
There is more inner work to be done but after 2 months, I feel more at peace than ever before.

I have only been working with Lowell for the last month. But, it's the first time in my life that I feel like someone truly cares about me and what I have gone through. There are literally not enough words to describe all the things I want to say, but I just want to end with the fact that I am thankful he is in my life now. THANK YOU!

I've had a number of counsellors, both face-to-face and online, and Lowell has helped me make the most progress. He is empathetic and supportive, but he's direct in getting to the heart of the issues. He helped me to find firm footing to move forward with my issues. I definitely recommend him as a counsellor.

Counselling was always a daunting thought to me, but Lowell made it very welcoming and open. I felt like I was speaking to a friend than a stranger. And that made the experience even better. I felt like I was finally being listened to and not judged for what came out of my mouth. I could express myself and be met with helpful resources and advice. He's very accommodating and understanding. Responses to messages timely and sessions are always on time. I would recommend him to anyonen needing help.
