Hello, my name is Lowell Wallace and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work in 2013 and went on to earn my LCSW in 2017. I have expertise in working with individuals and families with co-occurring substance abuse and other counseling issues. I also have expertise in providing counseling to individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, family conflict, trauma, ADHD, and much more.
I utilize a client-centered approach and realize clients are the experts on their own lives. I work collaboratively with my clients in setting and reaching their goals that will ultimately benefit their lives. Some of my most used clinical approaches are cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I enjoy these approaches because it allows me to help my clients gain insight into their core beliefs and how these translate into their thoughts and ultimately their behavior. I believe everyone has inherent strengths and abilities to face and overcome adversity and become more empowered and all they need is some assistance to realize their solution lies within themselves.
I truly enjoy working with others and assisting them in becoming better version of themselves.

Lowell has consistently made me feel heard, appreciated, and valued as a person. He has such a big heart and is able to be open and honest with me, in turn creating a trust that I’ve never felt with a therapist before. When I signed up for this app I never thought I would find someone I clicked with immediately. I’m happily surprised and grateful to be able to work with someone that can empathize with me and makes me feel safe.

Lowell is wonderful. He is like talking to a friend, but one who knows the technical aspects of your challenges and can pragmatically help you with them. Probably just about exactly what you want in a counselor.

I believe Mr. Wallace is quite a competent counselor. I'm really surprised how much I can relate to him and that helps a lot. He engages with me and makes me feel unique and important as well. He offers helpful and guiding worksheets as well as important advice in the sessions that comes from a place of both life experience and professional knowledge. I'm very grateful for his assistance in my time of need.
