About me

Hello, my name is Lowell Wallace and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work in 2013 and went on to earn my LCSW in 2017. I have expertise in working with individuals and families with co-occurring substance abuse and other counseling issues. I also have expertise in providing counseling to individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, family conflict, trauma, ADHD, and much more.

I utilize a client-centered approach and realize clients are the experts on their own lives. I work collaboratively with my clients in setting and reaching their goals that will ultimately benefit their lives. Some of my most used clinical approaches are cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I enjoy these approaches because it allows me to help my clients gain insight into their core beliefs and how these translate into their thoughts and ultimately their behavior. I believe everyone has inherent strengths and abilities to face and overcome adversity and become more empowered and all they need is some assistance to realize their solution lies within themselves.

I truly enjoy working with others and assisting them in becoming better version of themselves.

I am somewhat new to therapy and it’s been a hard process. Lowell cares about progress and has been a good source of information.

It’s been 3 weeks of sessions now and I definitely feel comfortable to speak 100% truthfully and know I’ll get a compassionate response instead of a judgmental one. We still have a long way to go but the steps being taken have felt like the right ones, and not a session has gone by where he hasn’t checked on my overall wellness. It’s very comforting and I don’t feel like I’m just being run through basic motions

He is a personable man with a relatable background to someone who has had problems with a wide variety of conflicts in life, I.E. drinking, partying, regretful decisions, depression, etc.
He offers insight as well as sympathy for your issues. Great guy to just chop it up with and easy to get to know.
