Dr. Lucian Stamps, LPC
About me
Welcome! My name is Dr. Lucian Stamps. I am an LPC in the State of Louisiana. I have over 15years of experience working in the Mental Health profession and the Education profession. I have worked in a variety of settings; focusing on areas of substance addiction, domestic violence, marriage and family issues, adolescent and young adult issues, school and career counseling issues, military and veterans issues, juvenile and adult offender issues, and pastoral counseling issues. I have a broad base of experience working with clients from different cultural backgrounds and ages.
I am a National Board Certified Counselor and National Certified School Counselor. I am a graduate of the Counseling program at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans; specializing in Counselor Education and Supervision, Marriage and Family Counseling, and School Counseling. My style of therapy is compassionate and supporting; yet therapeutically and intellectually challenging. I work from the premise that we are all on the journey of life, and there are seasons when we become wounded and are in need of someone to walk with us through the healing and growth process. I am honored and committed to walk with my clients and their families through the process.
I look forward to working with you

I am a new mom, and living in a foreign country with my new foreign family and facing a lot of cultural challenges. Trying out betterhelp and selecting Dr. Stamps are things I am very thankful for. I find Dr Stamps really good and passionate with his profession, I can tell he had so much experience on his scope of profession because Im amazed on his ability to get on point on what is really going on in my life. My sessions with him replenished my mind and motivation, and improved my perspective on marriage and of culture. It brought me sound realizations and uplifted my hopes of becoming a better version of me. Thank you, Doc.
