Lucy Middleton, NCPS
About me
I am a registered Integrative Therapist in the UK with 3 years of professional work experience. My main body of clients have been clients who have experienced complex and continued traumas in their lives, for example, childhood abuse which has then continued to be perpetuated in adulthood - finding themselves in abusive relationships or making decisions that are self-sabotaging for example. I have also worked with recovering addicts who are trying to re-navigate their path in life.
I also have experience in helping clients with general stress and anxiety, relationship issues and family conflicts.
As a person-centred therapist, I allow the client to bring their agenda and listen without judgement. I believe that you are the expert of your own self and your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

Lucy has honestly helped me in so many ways. It’s only been 5 months and I don’t even recognise the person I was when I started this. She has done so much for me and I am so grateful I got paired with her.

Lucy is amazing at listening and validating my feelings which is something I’ve never had. I was weary of starting therapy but Lucy has definitely helped get me over those fears and by listening to me has empowered me to sort my head out and let go of old emotions I’ve needed to let go for a very long time

Lucy is great, very patient and understanding and insightful. I’m not sure how she keeps up with all the details I share with her. Highly recommend.

Lucy is a caring, attentive and compassionate therapist who can decipher meaning from my sometimes chaotic and longwinded rambles. Through her, I have gained perspective on how I am feeling and I have learnt tools that can help me to approach many of the difficult situations I can be confronted by.
