Lynnette Craig, LPC
About me
It is wonderful that you are taking the first step because it is one of the hardest parts toward making positive change.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor II. I graduated from Colorado Christian University with a Master of Arts in Counseling in 2008. I have worked in a variety of counseling roles in private practice, court referred victims, residential, and recovery inpatient settings. The clients I have worked with have experienced a wide range of concerns including adjustments and change; past and recent or current trauma; marriage, family, parenting and relationship dynamics; dependency and addiction issues; employment and homelessness; grief and loss; coping; anxiety; depression; personality disorders; self-esteem; purpose and fulfillment and etc.
My style of counseling is very client-centered. I want to meet you where you are at and foster a warm and safe place to process and navigate through past and present difficulties and experiences. I am very compassionate and empathetic. I believe everyone is made uniquely and deserves respect and understanding. Therefore, I draw from a variety of counseling theories and techniques that is best fitting to the individual’s needs, desires and goals. I commonly gravitate toward family systems, cognitive behavioral, solution focused, strengths based, motivational interviewing, narrative, existential, psycho-dynamic and more therapy modalities to help us work together toward solutions. Life can catch up with us or become challenging at various seasons and having someone present to walk alongside us is helpful. As you are ready, I am passionate to help people heal and find hope towards the changes you desire to live life to the fullest. I am honored to be a part of that journey.

Lynette has been there for help me with my problems with a strong and gentle hand. She tells me what I must do to make things better and I try very hard to follow what she needs me to do. I am comfortable and trust a great deal every input she has in my future and what I need to be doing to help me through.

When I talk with Lynnette, I really feel like she hears me and understands me. She will help me to realize something and help learn how to handle things without me even realizing. I’ll be telling a story and she’ll repeat it back to me in a way I never thought about. She is beyond excellent at what she does.
