About me
I am a qualified counsellor, having completed an MSc in Counselling and Positive Psychology at the University of Bolton. I have been volunteering with a free counselling service for six years where I have dealt with a variety of client issues ranging from depression, anxiety and low self-esteem, through job loss, health, financial breakdown and family problems to domestic violence, sexual abuse and trauma. I have also worked with alcohol and drug addicts, homeless people and victims of human trafficking.
My psychotherapeutic approach is largely based on working with the subconscious, thanks to which we can change our approach to life and our problems, understand them and then solve them. In my work, I use various therapeutic techniques including elements of positive psychology and mindfulness, person-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy and radical forgiveness.
I offer my clients a safe space that is non-judgmental, full of empathy and understanding, where they can express themselves, talk about issues bothering them and begin the process of healing themselves through therapeutic work.

She was promoted and responsive. However, I b need psychiatric therapy which Magdalena also recommended for me. I thank her for her help and time during the few sessions we had.

Magda has been such a key part in all progress I have made in the last couple of months. She is straight talking, always holds me accountable for the things I have said, without judging or criticism when I slip up. Since working with Magda, my outlook has transformed as I used to beat myself up for mistakes all the time and now I simply focus on the controlables and save all that energy that was being wasted before.
