About me

Hello and Welcome to BetterHelp!

I am a bi-lingual, bi-cultural Vietnamese American psychotherapist. I have been living in the U.S. for 20 years, and have practiced psychotherapy for 13+ years.

My clients come from all walks of life who bring with them cultures, religions, sexual orientation, etc., as diverse as the real world we are living in.

My approach to therapy is an eclectic approach that centers around you, my client. Based on your strengths and potential, we will tailor a treatment plan specifically for you to cope with life challenges and to achieve your goals. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and Certified Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Treatment Provider.

This is your journey, and you will take the lead on WHAT goals you want to accomplish. I will assist you in HOW to achieve those goals by providing helpful tools, coaching, and emotional support. We will start where you are, and progress at your pace. It is absolutely necessary to take breaks and celebrate success.

Man’s expertise is everything I wanted and expected from a therapist. She checks off everything I needed from therapy. It’s my first time using this app and let alone going to therapy, my first session with Man was so helpful. She really listens and pinpoints how to navigate your emotions or whatever you issue may be. She sent me worksheets that really helped me understand my problems and how to get in touch with myself. Man is very knowledgeable and helped nudge me in the right direction. She follows up on topics you talked about from previous sessions and checks in with you if you’ve been working on yourself or want to touch base on anything. I’m thankful for her service!

If you want to be coddled, agreed with and just hear yourself talk - go elsewhere. Man is not going to placate you, but she will give you the feedback you need to grow. I've been amazed at her ability to keep me on track, dive into the heart of things and make our time together matter. In just a few sessions I feel heard, supported and gifted with the wisdom that she imparts. She's a fantastic listener with clear insights into how to transform patterns that aren't working.
