Marcus Clark, LCSW
About me
I am a clinical social worker licensed in the state of Georgia with seven years of experience providing therapy services to adolescents and adults. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from Kennesaw State University in 2015. I have provided treatment in several environments and programs including outpatient mental health and addictive disease programs, community mental health centers, community/home-based, and correctional centers (juvenile and adult). The majority of my expertise and experience is grounded in mental health therapy (mood disorders, anxiety disorders, conduct disorders, adjustment disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, etc.) as well as addiction counseling (substance abuse and process addictions).
My approach for therapy tends to be holistic and strengths-based recognizing that each human being can have a positive impact and the ability to change and grow. Modalities I have the most experience in include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. I am also well-versed in 12-step programs that address substance abuse and process addictions.
I look forward to working with you and getting started on your treatment plan!
