Marcus Pugh, BACP
About me
I am credentialed in the United Kingdom with 12 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients in many areas such as anxiety, depression, addictive behaviour, relationship issues, trauma, & abuse.
I endeavour to work in an emphathic and non-judgmental way, as I believe that your are the expert on your own life. Counselling is about offering a safe environment for you to talk and explore your own thoughts, feelings and needs. My job is sometimes to simply listen. I believe that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming life challenges.
My priority is for you to arrive at your own meaning, your own answers. Having said that, I am also comfortable in offering my own thoughts, maybe advice or alternative perspectives, if that is appropriate.
It takes courage to recognise the need for support and to take the first steps towards healing and self discovery. Things can and will get better.
I am really looking forward to working with you.
