Mardi Mitchell, LCSW
About me
Hello and Welcome! My name is Mardi Mitchell, MSW, LCSW, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience counseling people from diverse backgrounds towards improved life balance and overall mental wellbeing. I've worked with clients with a wide range of issues including: stress and anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief and loss, trauma, forgiveness, caregiver issues and co-dependency.
I take a client centered approach to therapy and provide a warm, safe, accepting and non-judgmental space for clients to share their feelings and desires. I develop the treatment plan together with the client based on their specific and unique needs and circumstances. Together we can identify problematic issues and then develop a plan with set goals towards improvement in those areas that are distressing for you. Various clinical approaches (see below) may be implemented based on each clients' specific situation and needs.
I believe it takes great courage to reach out for support. It is the first step in improving your situation and I would be honored to support you as you take the next steps toward healing and improved wellbeing.

Mardi listens, learns, and then offers help. She takes time to get to know you and verifies what she's hearing to make sure she fully understands the situation and your perspective. Very kind, caring, experienced, and fun to speak with.
