About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in the state of Illinois. I also have a Masters Degree in Education. I have over 30 years of experience working in the field of mental health. I consider it a privilege to have been invited into the lives of others as they seek to improve their daily lives.

I believe in meeting my clients where they are. Not where they are ‘expected’ to be. I will work with you as a whole person, not just as a diagnosis. I believe in an individual’s inherent dignity and right to self determination.

I would love to join you on your journey to positive change.

Margaret is a very good listener, kind, compassionate, provides positive feedback and intelligent. She understands why I am grieving my family and seeking a new identity since I also recently retired. I am still working on getting into a new good routine. Written by Angela Baron

Peggy was very kind and supportive. She posed challenging questions that allowed me to grow and heal. While we had a short time together, I felt it really allowed me to reflect and move forward in the best possible way. She helped to strengthen my relationship after a traumatic event and I now feel that my confidence in the ability to communicate has much improved. Thank you, Peggy.

I've been working with Peggy for a couple weeks now and so far it's going great, she really listens and asks questions that help me think through things. She's very approachable and easy to get in touch with, we have weekly sessions but she answers my messages whenever I send them. I'm looking forward to our next session.
