About me
You cannot pour from an empty cup and sometimes we need help with making sure all our needs are met. We as humans can face life adversities and feel alone when doing so. Taking the first step in helping ourselves can be scary. BUT, you have already made the first one by logging onto here. Helping people along in their life journey is my calling, not a job. Whether it is anxiety, depression, life stressors, trauma, or going through transitions, we can all use support. If you are looking for a non-judgmental, supportive, safe, therapeutic environment in helping you create a better you than you are on the right page!
In my many years of practice, I have worked with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families, in helping them find resolutions to their conflicts, resources for support, and assisted them in alleviating pains, traumas, and anxieties.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, who is empathetic in her line of work, and utilizes a strengths based perspective to empower my clients in developing a healthy lifestyle they want to live. I utilize an individualized approach, and tailor each therapeutic intervention, to suit each individual client.

Marissa is wonderful. She has really helped me grow and also be ok with where I am. She’s non-judgmental, and really listens when I talk. I’m not sure how I got along all these years without her!
