About me

Hello! My name is Marissa White and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I work with individuals who have a wide range of concerns including trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, family relations issues, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders. I combine different therapeutic approaches based on client's presenting concerns, goals, and motivation, such as, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), brief therapy, mindfulness, client-centered, solution-focused therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
Life's challenges can be overwhelming. My goal is to provide a safe environment for my clients to speak openly about life and stressors. As my client, we will begin services where you are, and together, I will help you explore, develop, and create sense of balance as you learn, grow, and make positive changes that can result in a more fulfilling life.
I look forward to working with you.
