I am licensed as an LPC in Texas with 14 years of professional work experience. I have experience helping clients in coping with Mood Disorders (Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia); PTSD (Trauma and Abuse); LGBTQ+ Related Issues; Addictions; Special Abilities; Motivation, Self-esteem, and Confidence.

I was born and raised in Texas. My Masters Degree in Professional Counseling is from Argosy University, and my Therapeutic Approach is rooted in Person-Centered, CBT, Humanistic, Creative Strengths, and other Theoretical Modalities. I have also studied early childhood education to obtain a fundamental understanding of how people learn and grow. I have practical experience in Education; Art Instruction; Art as a Coping Skill for Adolescents, Adults, and the Elderly; working with Children and Adults with Specialized Abilities (labeled as Disabled); clients diagnosed on the Spectrum of Autism; Crisis Counseling for PTSD; Multicultural Work; Services for the LGBTQ Community; Substance Use Treatment, and Individual, Couples, & Family Therapy.
I am Licensed to Diagnose Mental Health Disorders: (Schizophrenia, Major Depression, General Anxiety, PTSD, and Mood/Personality Disorders), but My Credentials do NOT Allow me to Diagnose Special Needs nor Diagnose on the Spectrum of Autism. My credentials allow me to Help Clients Already Diagnosed with Special Needs or a Diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum.
Before moving to Online Counseling, I worked in-person with Education Settings for At Risk Students, Specialized Programs for Empowering people labeled as Disabled with Skills in the Arts, Groups where Art was introduced as a Coping Skill for the Elderly, Crisis Counseling, Substance Use Counseling, Straight & LGBTQ+ Relationship Issues, and General Counseling for Mental Health Disorders.
