Life can feel overwhelming, especially when emotions surface that you don’t fully understand. You may sense that something isn’t quite right—whether in your mind, body, or emotions—but struggle to put it into words. If you’re looking to reconnect with yourself and find clarity, counselling can offer the support and understanding you need.
As a person-centred therapist, I provide a compassionate, safe, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Many people are still navigating the emotional impact of past restrictions and losses, and it’s completely understandable if you’re feeling the weight of grief, uncertainty, or change.
In our 45-minute sessions, you will have the freedom to talk openly without judgment or unsolicited advice. Whether you’re coping with bereavement, loss, or other personal struggles, I will listen with empathy and care, ensuring you feel heard and supported.
I know that starting counselling can bring feelings of uncertainty—wondering what to say or whether you’ll have enough to talk about. That’s completely natural. My role is to help you feel at ease, guiding our conversations in a way that feels right for you.
Taking this first step is a powerful act of self-care. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey.

By far the best therapist I've ever had. Doesn't matter what I bring to the session, there's nothing I can talk about that she can't handle, which makes me feel genuinely safe and lets me be truly unfiltered. I've learned and progressed so much thanks to her.

Marlene has helped me so much over the past 8 months. Each session has been illuminating and explorative and I’ve always felt safe and supported by her warm presence. I’m going to miss our sessions a lot but I know they have prepared me well for my next chapter. Thank you so much, Marlene!

I've been working with Marlene for the past four months and have nothing but positive things to say. She creates such a safe space and is so warm and welcoming that working with her has definitely improved how I view my world and has armed me with all the coping abilities to break my thought patterns and instilled back in me all the self worth I had lost due to past trauma. I now feel more myself than ever and face every day situations that used to fill me with fear with a renewed confidence! I would highly recommend. Thank you Marlene!

Marlene has provided a safe, non-judgmental space to work through my tough emotions. This is my first time seeking therapy too. It’s always comfortable to speak to Marlene over video call, and her written messages are well thought through, which personally I like to keep as reminders. Marlene is able to help me objectively identify and discuss my issues. I’d reconnect with Marlene if I get back on BetterHelp. Thanks Marlene.

Marlene has been so great, always listened and helped me understand my thought processes. I really appreciate all her help- she’s helped me progress so much and has given me some really good tools to deal with things long term. I liked how we would always circle back to the main issue even if we went off topic, and how she ends the sessions with a grounding exercise.

Marlene is an amazing therapist. She always listened to what I had to say, and kindly gave her perspective. I am so grateful to have had Marlene as a therapist. In short she is great. It is truly phenomenal how she created a safe space for me to verbalise and process my emotions, feelings, thoughts. Not only this, but week after week Marlene gently challenged me to work on recurring themes in my life! She was kind and compassionate in all of my sessions and I felt heard and not judged. Not many therapists have the capacity to do this, let alone via a screen. I look forward to my return to therapy as I know there is a lot more to discover with Marlene.
